Our clinicians have more than 10 years of experience in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Mental Health Services. They are skilled in communication, observation, analysis, collaboration, diagnostics, and treatment.
Our Vision
We offer treatment in the areas of Speech Therapy and Communication Difficulties, including: Apraxia of Speech, Aphasia, Articulation Disorders, Disfluencies, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorders, Autism, Developmental Delays, and more.
In Mental Health, our services include pediatric care focused on Depression Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Mood Disorders, and more.
Our services are provided in individuals' daily living environments and through telehealth services.
Lidia Raquel Romero Munoz
President of Pediatric Speech Specialists and Counselors of Florida
Lidia Romero holds her licenses in Florida, New York, and California and is nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Rosario University in Bogotá, Colombia (1999), and was awarded her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Long Island University, Brooklyn, New York (2011).
Lidia Romero also holds a Florida license in Mental Health Counseling and is nationally certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), holding both the National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Clinical Certified Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) credentials. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University (2016).
Lidia Raquel Romero Munoz
Lidia began her clinical work in Colombia (1999), Costa Rica (2000), and Ecuador (2001), Brooklyn New York (2012) and Currently her has her private practice in Orlando Florida since 2020. Her career has been focused on pediatric care in office and home health settings, schools, and tele-health. Lidia currently serves as a clinician, clinical director, and President of Pediatric Speech Specialists and Counselors of Florida, LLC.
